Yes we waited all day!!!! finally at 4:30 for interview, after that we went to the baby house, for another interview, and to meet Ivan. He was sitting on the doctors lap, looking at us not to sure of it all, Paul says he was checking me out. He did smile at us but didn't want to sit by us. We have to go back tomorrow(Tues.) at 10:00am. We will bring toys to warm him up. Pray all goes well at the visit, and he will warm up to us.
What did we do while we waited? We went to the store and the Market all by ourselves. Hopefully we like what we bought. Everyone was quite friendly, trying to understand our Russian. It was an adventure, that will be an outing we do every day to pass time. There is not much to do here when you can't read anything. So please send us messages. Talk to ya tomorrow.

We will continue to pray that all goes well and that he warms up to you and see' how much he is loved already!
Also praying things go well with your stay and that you are able to enjoy seeing what life has been like for him and the way of life in his "home". Take lots of pictures-for him to see what life was life b/f coming home to you as well as for you to be able to fully show and explain what you have experienced-pictures do help a lot!

Don't know if you read my status on fb, but Romeo went in last week to apply for his passport. Typically it takes around a week or so to receive the passport, so we're praying to get it soon! I am DYING to see pictures of sweet, little Ivan. I will keep your girls in my prayers. Have fun!!
So you actually met Ivan!! We can't imagine what must be going through that little boy's mind. We already are praying for him. Maybe if you tell him what great grandparents he will have he will warm up quickly!

Can't imagine the excitement you guys must have felt seeing your little answer to prayer for the first time in person! Praying that Ivan will feel more at ease with you every time you see him. Our thought and prayers are with the girls too.

we LIVED by the computer when we were in siberia...we know how much email means! please know that you are being prayed over and through. so glad that you at last could place your eyes on your precious little ivan. is he really tiny? hope that tomorrows visit goes well...i'm sure that it will. nothing like the first time he runs to you and says 'mama and papa!!!' if you're able - get pictures of his actual living space (bed/eating and playing area) our boys LOVE to look back at those pictures and say that they remember being there!
