We are half way done with our bonding with Ivan, and we are learning every day new things about each other. He is more comfortable to play by himself, not so scared we will leave, we play more things. And today we said we loved him and he shock his head that he loved us to. We also got some good hugs, he puts his cheek right on your cheek and wraps his arms around you and squeezes.It's hard to put into words the emotions that go through us in a visit with Ivan.
Paul and I are going to walk to Constitution Ave. the have a Holiday today with lots of things going on there. We are meeting Patrick and Shelia there and going out for supper. I hope to get some col pics for the blog tomorrow. It is very warm still and going to be warmer tomorrow. To bad there are no beaches to go to.( we are spoiled in Michigan)
Thanks for all the notes and e-mails we love to receive them. Pray that the next week of bonding goes well, and that the court date will be made soon after that.

Hey Paul and Vicki, It is so wonderful to hear the progress being made with Ivan as you get to know eachother!! What an incredible feeling it must be to share the love with him and to get it in return! What a blessing. We are still camping and will check in with mom and the girls when we get home. Obviously my computers much smarter than me as you can tell from my multiple posts...and obviously i'm still on vacation...even though we arrived home from the east coast @ midnite...how about my brain is obviously on vacation! So how is it that you are up at 2am blogging? So thrilled to hear that you are able to share so much love with Ivan, and that he is able to love back - I know that is a huge answer to prayers. Looking forward to hear how Consitution Ave. is - is it far from where your apt is? Do you have air cond. in your apt?
Also, do you visit Ivan the same time every day? Will this change/evolve at all? Have you learned much more about his background yet?
We will continue to pray. Are you doing emails at all?
