A beautiful sunny day, still very windy and a bit chilly. .We had another good day with Ivan, he played well, he has a toy phone and he would run all over the playground with it sitting here sitting there answering his phone , he even pretended to take pictures of us with it. What a wonderful little boy, we are understanding each other a little more everyday, it is going to be hard saying good bye. We are going to court tomorrow, exciting and a little nervous, I’ve never been to court before. Ira say there is no reason to be nervous . After that we have a little celebration, Ivan will officially be Ivan Paul Van Zalen!!! We will be in court from 10:00 till about 11:00. We have our finally flights we are leaving on the 25th at 11:30 am and will be home in the evening on the 26th, A long travel Pray for us, me Vicki especially .I did Sheila’s hair today and it turned out really nice, it actually felt good to do someone’s hair, Patrick tried to cut Jonathon’s hair, I will not comment on how that looked. All in all we had a good day, now we are going to eat dinner, press our nice clothes for court, trim up My scruffy man’s hair and neck, and that will be about it for today.

Officially Ivan Paul Van Zalen......my eyes got a bit teary when I read that!!!!!! We will be praying for you as you go through your court appointment......10:00 A.M. there is about 1:00 A.M. here right? No problem, I will most likely be awake anyway! Have a wonderful last couple of days with Ivan, and then a very safe trip home. Can't wait to see you!

Me too,(referring to Kerri's comment) I just started crying when I read.. 'he will officially be Ivan Paul Van Zalen'. I can't explain why I am so overwhelmed, I can't explain why I cry??? It is just such an amazing story of God and His beloved child! We will keep praying, we love you.

Ivan Paul VanZalen...true BOY genes..yay!! A chance to carry on that dutch last name!! It does choke me up to think of the life change little Ivan has now...eternally...i could cry...but i won't b/c i'm so happy for you all!! He's just a few weeks away from coming "HOME"!! Praying for God's peace and calm to come upon you tomorrow and the days ahead as you travel. Remember~only hear God's truth...no fear, no frets, no lies!
